Hi, my name is Rachel and I just signed up after following on Instagram! The month twerk how-to definitely caught my eye because my ass has never been able to move like that 😂
The app is very cool and well put together. It’s sectioned off well depending on what you’re looking for in your daily workout. I love the thought behind it... tailoring the workout to the beat of the music. It makes the workout go by so much faster! I’m so over the beachbody music mixes. My husband will divorce me if he has to listen those music mixes one more time.
I normally never review or suggest anything to any business because I don’t want to be a Karen and if i don’t like something I’ll just not use it rather than complain... but I really like Katie’s DJ/twerk/music/fitness vibe and I really want to continue my subscription! I love the workouts, the dancing, the energy and music especially, but I’m really hoping you could do a few more intense cardio workouts? There are some GREAT exercises in them but they only last for 10-20 seconds before we go back to more stretching. Maybe it’s because it’s “freestyle” so the next cardio move isn’t prepared yet, but I would love a few more videos with longer cardio exercises (40 seconds to a minute maybe?) less stretching throughout and save sitting/laying down core and dynamic stretching for the beginning and end? If it’s only a 20 minute workout, I guess I want to be sweaty and out of breath by the end and don’t feel like I have to do a 2nd video to get a good sweat in.
I admit I’ve only done 3-4 cardio videos so far... but I just did the twerk cardio & HIIT bosu workout back to back to get more calorie burn in, and Katie got me excited with a tough squat on the bosu but only ended up doing 5 of them before going back to stretching! I kept wanting to fast forward 10 seconds through each downtime but the app/browser doesn’t allow for a quick 10 second fast forward.
I know there are probably some people who enjoy the breaks and you have to cater to your whole customer base, but maybe there are some people like me who go to the cardio section of the app and want to be sweating and out of breath after 20 minutes. I feel like I need to go on a run after.
I definitely can see myself paying the $20/month and using it daily as I haven’t even gotten to the twerk-how tos yet!!! But if I really want this app for fitness as well as booty poppin, a few more intense cardio/HIIT/plyo videos would be amazing to balance out my fun twerking dance days.
Sorry for being a downer on my 1st comment, but I really do like 99.9% about your business and I’m so excited to see more!
